This class will teach you how to properly, use, handle, prepare, store and dispose of odour along with the responsibility that goes along with using Odour. It introduces the team to searching for the specific target odour of Birch and building odour obedience. This class will build upon the foundation skills learnt in Beginners and Intermediates and will further develop the teams search prowess as well as building an understanding of how odour and odour movement can be affected by the environment and by the handler team. We will discuss and begin preparations for ORT’s (Odour Recognition Test) and Trialling
Pre-requisite is K9 Nose Time Intermediates
IMPORTANT NOTE – there will be no class on 11th June as we are launching a brand new dog sport (K9 ScentScrambler) at Dogs NSW Open Day – this class will be a week later on 18th June
